At a remote school in Papua, unreliable electricity access posed a major obstacle to the teaching and learning process. Batari Energy, a company committed to expanding access to renewable energy, saw an opportunity to make a difference.
In collaboration with the Harapan Papua Education Foundation (YPHP), they decided to install 2,200 Wp solar panel systems at two schools, capable of generating enough electricity to meet the schools' needs. Additionally, they installed 5,000 Wh batteries to store the energy generated by the solar panels, providing the schools with a reliable, renewable source of electricity.
Thanks to the installation of these solar panels and batteries, the schools now have a stable and dependable power supply. This ensures the smooth operation of educational activities and opens up opportunities for students and teachers to access a wider range of technologies and resources.
